Review: Traction- get a grip on your business

Do you have a grip on your business, or does your business have a grip on you? Don't let common problems and frustrations run you and your business. Get a grip and gain control with the Entrepreneurial Operating System. Inside Traction, you'll learn the secrets of strengthening the Six Key Components of your business. You'll discover simple yet powerful ways to run your company that will give you and your leadership team more focus, more growth, and more enjoyment. Based on years of real-world implementation in over 100 companies, the Entrepreneurial Operating System is a practical method for achieving the business success you have always envisioned. Successful organizations are applying it every day to run profitable, frustration-free businesses -- and you can too.   Description taken from here.

Traction has 6 chapter, one chapter for each of the 6 "key componets" to your business.  The thing I really like about Traction, is the fact that after each of the 6 chapters, there is a quiz.  You can quiz and tally yourself, with answers and percentages of the quiz you have done on the back of the quiz page.

Pictures are worth a million words, and Traction has graphs littered all over it's pages.  Another thing I really love about 'how to do' books, is the fact that Traction has an index.  I am a organizing freak.  Because of this, everything must have it's own place, and that is what an index does for me.  Everything has a place in it, and that is one of the reasons I love it so much.

Traction tells business owners how to analyze people and data.  It descibes how to deal with people and the complete business process.  I think that many starting up business owners could find this to be a helpful book.

To buy Traction, you can purchase it here on amazon.com  for roughly $20
Traction is a Hardcover, however, it is also available in eBook format.
