Review and Giveaway: Yu-Be

Yu-Be is Japan's #1 selling skin care cream.  But, just because it is from Japan doesn't mean you haven't heard of it before.  You might have just seen Yu-Be products featured in InStyle Magazine or Rachel Ray's Magazine.  Dematologist Dr. Vicki Rapaport MD from Beverly Hills, CA says this about Yu-Be, "...Yu-Be has been very effective on severe dry skin conditions such as Eczema and Dermatits.  I could not be more pleased with the results Yu-Be has delivered."

The Yu-Be formula has been around  since 1957 when Japanese pharmacist Yoshikiyo Nowatari invented it.  With over 50 years of positive effects, Yu-Be has a reason to be proud.

Yu-Be has allowed me to review a few of their products.  They sent me samples of their Moisturizing Skin Cream , Moisturizing Body Lotion, Lip Therapy, and Foaming Skin Polish.  I was really amazed by how soft their creams left my skin.  Yu-Be really has winning products with their amazing formulas.

The Moisturizing Skin Cream is a thick paste to allow for super soft skin. At first the scent (smells like heavy menthol) hit my nose.  I was a little wary at that, but the scent quickly faded and my skin felt amazing.  The cream is not greasy in the least, and it aborbed pretty quickly yet still left my skin feeling like I had actually put something on.  I hate when I put lotion on and as soon as my skin has aborbs it, leaves me feeling like I hadn't put it on in the first place.Yu-Be is not like this, it really leaves your skin feeling moisturized. Plus, it has Vitamin B2 and Vitamin E in it to protect your skin and repair any damaged or rough skin you might have.

The Moisturizing Body Lotion is slightly runny.  The menthol smell is not as strong with this product, yet the product is still a lot like the skin cream.  Non-greasy, quick to aborb and leaving my skin feeling great.  My skin feels amazingly smooth after putting this on, it's great!  The Yu-Be website also says that their body lotion is also helps with sunburns; but as it is just going into Spring, I have not been able to see if this truly works.  The Moisturizing Body Lotion also contains Vitamin E and Vitamin B2.

Lip Therapy, I though, smelled slightly lemon-y, which I liked.  It goes on smooth and leaves my lips feeling moisturized.  It also has Vitamin E in it.  It stayed on for a good amount of time, absorbed into my lips and yet still had a nice silky coat on my lips.

The Foaming Skin Polish is a face and body wash.  Fine grains of rice bran and bamboo scrub away dead skin cells.  I am used to using face scrubs, so using this was nothing new.  The results however, that's new!  Oh my god, I cannot believe how soft my skin is right now!  It is sooo amazing!  I have never head my face feel like this before, my hand just about slides over my skin.  My face is smooth, soft and feels deep down clean.  I am definetly going to have to order some of this scrub!

Christina - xristya@rock.com - I learned that you can use this for eczema. I had eczema as an infant and then it returned, a million years later, in my adult life - so I'm curious as to whether this would help, since nothing else does!
